After the outstanding neoclassical album "Meseonas" (Twilight Records, TW 1.43, 2009) by Dark Awake, and their great and innovative album "Epi Thanaton" (Rage In Eden, Rage 94, 2013) creating a new style labeled "Music Apocalyptic Ritual "by Dark Awake, last October of 2017, VOX LILIA surprised us with an authentic avant-garde album within the noise and experimental scene entitled" Monotony Murder ". On this occasion, with Sekte as alma mater of VOX LILIA and with Shelmerdine in the technical work of mastering, they have given life to this impressive musical work of eclectic creative spirit where noise and experimental electronic music merge with the industrial, with passages sound high-tech ... to give structural shape and artistic sense to the four extraordinary themes that form the backbone of this album. Self-published in digital format through the official VOX LILIA website on Bandcamp, "Monotony Murder" has seen its cover adorned with this striking design created by Sekte, reflecting in this hard and mortifying visual aesthetics, VOX LILIA's musical composition line marked by the subjugating, by the brutal, by the dominant, and by the violent and bloody, hence the symbolic balance that presents with the title of this work. A stunning visual aesthetic that, like the innovative sound creation style shown by Sekte in this debut album, his attentive audition I'm sure will impress and captivate the music lovers of Lux Atenea Webzine related to these transgressive sound streams. With the birth of this album, in the noise and experimental scene an absolute conceptual revitalization is produced by acquiring a much larger musical complexity by broadening its sound spectrum under the influence of other styles whose musical parameters bordering on border with noise and with the experimental. Without delaying the wait, we began the audition of this musical jewel entering the first "Telepathic Animal" theme, where the psychic connection will be recreated immediately from the first two experimental sound planes that open this composition, gradually acquiring the unmistakable sound character noise with increasingly higher frequencies and sound levels located punctually at the limit. But Sekte, in addition, incorporates a vocal plane to this composition as if it were an alchemist directing his most valuable and revolutionary experiment, becoming increasingly consolidated this musical undulation that moves energetically between the experimental and the noise while the sampler remains as background. With a duration of four minutes, the theme "Communication" gives us the feeling of being much shorter compared to the first topic, although it lasts practically half the time. A feeling that will be reinforced as soon as we enter the subject "Exorcism", much more extreme and emotionally sharp, and with a more relevant and direct industrial background where the vocal plane remains sound translucent in the background. A feeling of overwhelm, psychological discomfort, and restlessness caused by the forceful stimulation of the senses that makes your hearing an entire experience. A mental mortification that, in the theme "Monotony Murder", presents a sonorous versatility and an amplitude in the frequencies used that impresses, covering the environment with the wild fog of the hunter in search of his prey ... of his confused and trusting prey .
